Just a short walk away in the village of Barmston is a pub if you fancy a night out. You are also a stroll from a long sandy beach where you can take walks and build sandcastles. The towns of Bridlington and Filey offer a variety of pubs and restaurants while Bridlington has a spa entertainment centre and Filey a promenade and historic harbour.
There are also many stately homes waiting to be explored including Sewerby Hall, Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall. This lovely cottage is an ideal cottage in an area which has so many activities on offer at any time of year.

The small village of Barmston lies on the east coast, six miles south of Bridlington. This friendly, rural village overlooks the North Sea, with stunning views along the coastline from the cliff top, where on a clear day you can see for miles up and down the coast. The village centre has a pub serving food, and an Italian restaurant is only a 10 minute walk away. A duck pond completes this quiet village, whilst nearby is a sandy beach.
