Situated on the steep and winding Cragg Road is the hamlet of Cragg Vale. The village is 1000 feet above sea level and the area is ideal for walkers. The village of Luddenden is on the other side of the valley, with a visit to Jerusalem Farm, a nature reserve is well worth visiting. Hebden Bridge is close by and has restaurants, bars, bistros, markets, an independent cinema, art galleries, and the Rochdale Canal.
Also within driving distance is the Parsonage Museum, a ride on the Worth Valley Railway and the town of Skipton.
