As you step inside, you’re immediately welcomed into the living and dining room, a space that reflects the cottage’s heritage with beams and stone architecture while offering all the modern touches needed for an enjoyable stay. The multi-fuel burner becomes a real focal point on cooler evenings, while the Smart TV makes it easy to settle in after a day spent walking the fells or wandering the village streets.

It’s a room made for slowing the pace, sharing meals and enjoying quiet moments together. The kitchen is thoughtfully arranged and well equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, making it just as easy to prepare a simple breakfast as it is to cook a special supper using local produce.

Upstairs, the king-size bedroom is beautifully presented and offers a calm, restful space to retreat to at the end of the day. About the Grassington area

Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Traditional stone cottages and shops are clustered around the cobbled market place, offering exceptional shopping facilities for a village of this size, with a monthly farmer’s market offering a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce.

Situated on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods to the north of the village, this is a superb walking area. Down dale is Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous “Strid Walk”. A little further is the elegant town of Ilkley, overlooked by the famous Ilkley Moor. Up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery.
