Next door, the kitchen retains the neutral colour palette, with skylights and sliding doors allowing the natural light to pour in. The first floor is home to two delightful bedrooms with king-size beds, stylishly decorated in muted tones to help you get a good night’s rest. Completing the floor is the bathroom with a shower over the bath offering flexibility for a refreshing shower or a long evening soak.

Outside, a garden oasis awaits filled with mature trees and plants which burst to life in the summer months. Furnished with seating on the patio area facing Ingleborough, it’s the perfect spot for an intimate meal or your morning coffee. Pack a picnic and head to Ribblehead Viaduct to marvel at this iconic 19th-century series of stone arches and enjoy the circular walk around the Grade II-listed structure.

Further afield in the Forest of Bowland, soak up the scenery at Gisburn Forest and Stocks which is a sight to behold at all times of the year, whilst the cafe is the perfect place to stop off and refuel. What’s more, the Lake District is accessible within 20 miles ensuring the best of two of the UK’s finest national parks.
