Enjoy a stay at this gorgeous, boutique hotel-style retreat close to the fringes of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Originally a stationmaster’s house, the three-bedroom property at Preston-under-Scar sleeps six and has opulent style that ensures every comfort. With a beautiful garden with a hot tub, it is the perfect place to unwind together after your days out in beautiful Wensleydale.
Head inside to find chic, sunlight-filled accommodation with underfloor heating. Pull open the bi-folding doors in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has a glass gable and double-height ceiling, on summer days. Sink back into the soft seating to watch the Smart TV as the wood burner crackles during the colder months.
Enjoy preparing the next meal in the contemporary kitchen area. Wander through to the snug, where there is another TV and a wood burner. A WC and twin bedroom, which can be set up as a super-king-size by prior discussion, and which has an en-suite shower room, is on the ground floor. Two more super-king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and the other with an en-suite bathroom with free-standing bath, are on the first floor.
All the bedrooms have their own TVs. Spill out into the garden to dine in the sunshine, soak in the hot tub or play croquet as the outdoor sound system plays your favourite tunes.
