Occupying three storeys, this fabulous hideaway lies just off the market square, ideally situated for exploring the magnificent North Yorkshire countryside. Featuring an original bell pull, the welcoming entrance hallway leads through to the first lounge: a generous space with oak floorboards, bay windows, Smart TV and a lovely fire in a beautiful inglenook fireplace.

The second lounge is on the top floor, with a Smart TV, football table and wooden beams. The sleek kitchen has plenty of useful equipment so you can enjoy celebratory meals in the elegantly arranged dining room. There are four light, chic and relaxing bedrooms, each with a TV. Three bedrooms are on the first floor: two king-size, each with a period fireplace and en-suite shower room; and a twin room next to the family bathroom.

The final bedroom is on the top floor, with a super-king-size bed and en-suite shower room. Outside, a small patio area has garden furniture beneath a pear tree, offering a lovely spot to sit out with a morning coffee. Middleham is known for its horse racing heritage, with several major stables nearby – the racehorse trainers lead their horses through the streets and up to the gallops each day.
