Inside The Salt Pot, a large, open-plan living area welcomes you home; prepare heart-warming meals in the well-equipped, country-style kitchen with an LPG gas cooker, dishwasher and a beautiful, double copper basin with a stained glass window above, overlooking the hills.

After toasting to your retreat at the rustic dining table, retire to the sitting area, whether that's snuggling up in front of the TV on the leather sofa, or in the armchairs with a good book by the crackling woodburner. Freshen up in the charming cloakroom with quirky, handmade furnishings, including an old-fashioned WC and a basin made of a jam pot and bell.

About the Oakworth area

Oakworth is a small village two miles from Haworth that overlooks the Worth Valley and was made famous by the filming of E.E. Nesbitt's novel, The Railway Children in 1970. Oakworth boasts a magnificent ornamental park and is within easy reach of the town of Keighley, in addition to its vicinity to Haworth and the moors.

The famed Brontë sisters, who were much inspired by the surrounding moorland, lived in nearby Haworth. Haworth features a plethora of curious and antique shops, as well as alleyways and cobblestone streets.
