The open-plan living area is truly delightful, with a show-stopping lounge basked in natural light and unspoiled countryside views thanks to triple-aspect glass doors. The country kitchen, with cream units, wooden countertops and an attractive apron sink, is sure to inspire your inner chef. When day turns to night, choose from a delightful king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and two twins served by the well-appointed family bathroom.

When the weather’s good, make the most of the enclosed lawn and patio area, which is a true bonus if you have children or pets. The indoor games barn is wonderful for keeping guests occupied during downtime and wet days. The property is on the outskirts of Great Broughton (1 mile), a charming village with two pubs.

Stokesley, a market town 3 miles away, has plenty of shops, and houses a Friday market on its cobbled square – fantastic for picking up local produce. There’s also a 9-hole golf course and a swimming pool. On the sweeping moors, take the dogs for walks around Westworth Reservoir (11 miles) or up to Ingleby Incline (5 miles) for stunning panoramic views.
