About the Pateley Bridge area

Pateley Bridge was voted Great Britain's Best Village High Street in 2016. The steep main street is lined with interesting shops, restaurants, bars, two award-winning butchers, a fishmonger, a bakery, and the oldest sweet shop in England. The nearby leisure centre has a swimming pool and the riverside park with children's play area is not to be missed.

Craft Workshops and the award-winning Nidderdale Museum are also worth a visit. The Nidd Valley is also great for walking, cycling, and birdwatching.
