Pocklington, a charming market town, is located in the Vale of York, at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds. Perhaps its most famous feature is the Burnby Hall Gardens, an 8-acre oasis of beauty that includes two large lakes and the National Collection of water lilies. Stunning Sledmere House, the ancient city of York, and the mighty Castle Howard are just a few of the nearby world-famous attractions.
