Entering the lodge, you will find a superb open-plan living room with a fitted kitchen and sociable dining area, a delightful space to enjoy with your loved ones, whilst taking in the views of open countryside. Create a delicious meal with the generous supply of utensils and modern kitchenware and gather around the table to chat about events from the day.

Three bedrooms await after a tiresome afternoon of walking through secluded dales and across magnificent coastline. You have a master bedroom benefitting from an en-suite shower room, while the other double and twin share a family bathroom. The quiet village of Sheriff Hutton is mentioned twice in the Doomsday Book.

In 1140, during the reign of King Stephen, a motte-and-bailey castle was built, the remains of which can be seen from Oak Lodge. It is rather popular with walkers and cyclists who come to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside.
