Greeting you upon arrival is the living room with a large leather sofa and an armchair where you can sprawl out and relax. Retaining many of its original features, the room is full of character and country style. Adjoining the room is the traditionally styled kitchen with a dining table for morning coffees and evening meals.

Between the two areas is the wooden staircase leading up to the two tastefully styled bedrooms which enjoy neutral decor. Bedroom one features a comfortable double bed, alongside a TV where you can retreat to at the end of each day to recuperate, whilst the second room has a single bed, ideal for a child.

Completing the floor is the family shower room. Whilst Skipton itself has plenty to entertain, from historic tours of the castle to an array of excellent leisure facilities, adventure awaits in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, just a mile away from the town. Pack a picnic and head off to explore Malham Cove (22 miles), an unusual geological formation with an awe-inspiring waterfall.
