An attractive end-terrace Edwardian property, in the charming village of Thornton-le-Dale, just two miles from Pickering market town. Ideally placed for exploring the stunning countryside of the North York Moors National Park and the many nearby attractions, it provides a very comfortable holiday home.
The sitting room retains the original high ceilings, with a large bay window overlooking the quiet street and a cosy multi fuel burner to relax around on cooler evenings. Traditionally furnished in keeping with the age of the property, there is a modern kitchen with dining area and three family bedrooms, which are situated over the top two floors.
A five minute walk brings you to the centre of this very pretty village, with a stream meandering down the main street. The children will love the traditional play area with its scooter park and Astroturf ball court. Enjoy a gentle stroll around, with its array of interesting shops, tempting tea rooms, pubs and restaurants.
Walkers will delight in the many footpaths leading from the village, while a must for cyclists is nearby Dalby Forest, with numerous biking trails and adventure centre. Two miles away is the bustling market town of Pickering, with its castle, museums and the terminus of the renowned North York Moors Steam Railway, which winds its way through the heather-clad moors to Grosmont, a wonderful day out for both young and old.
