Traditionally furnished and styled, there is a spacious sitting room. A smaller, snug sitting room is perfect for the younger members of the family to gather, whilst dining can be taken in the well-equipped kitchen or in the large, sunny conservatory. The conservatory opens onto a rear, enclosed lawned garden with paved patio - a sheltered and private area in which to relax in the sunshine.

Also on the ground floor is an easy access king-size bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The first floor has five comfortable bedrooms, with the largest having the bonus of an en-suite. With the luxury of underfloor heating on the ground floor and off road parking for four cars, this cottage will not disappoint.

An easy walk brings you into the hub of this historic and atmospheric town, with quaint cobble stoned streets, a picturesque harbour and long, sandy beaches. A wonderful cottage at any time of the year.

About the Whitby area

Whitby in North Yorkshire remains one of the regions most popular tourist hotspots, and with good reason. The town is at the mouth of the River Esk, and this old fishing port retains mush character in its winding streets and hidden alleys. There is a picturesque harbour, sandy beach and the famous Whitby Abbey.

Close to other seaside destinations such as Scarborough, Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby is also ideally placed for heading inland and exploring the beautiful countryside of the North York Moors National Park.
