A short car journey east will bring you to the market town of Skipton, where visitors can spend a morning roaming the grounds of Skipton Castle and brushing up on local history at the Craven Museum and Gallery, before continuing north into the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which houses a wealth of amazing landmarks, including the scenic greens of Kilnsey Park, the awe-inspiring site of Malham Cove, and the peaceful streams of Linton Falls.

Only eight miles from Skipton, the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, the old market town of Barnoldswick is located in the Pennine hills amid gorgeous, gently rolling countryside on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border. A thriving town in the centre of England, affectionately referred to as Barlick, is proud of its manufacturing heritage, which spans from a sizeable textile industry to the production of modern aero engines at the Rolls Royce factory.
